Mardi le 29 novembre 2011 – Le Réseau canadien d’action sur les biotechnologies (RCAB) et les AmiEs de la Terre de Québec ont soumis des commentaires à Agriculture et Agroalimentaire Canada (AAC), dans le cadre d’une consultation du gouvernement fédéral, pour s’objecter aux propositions qui permettraient un niveau de contamination des aliments importés par des aliments génétiquement modifiés (GM) provenant d’autres pays et qui n’ont pas été approuvés par Santé Canada.

The White House has confirmed that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has finished an environmental assessment of the genetically modified (GM) fast-growing Atlantic salmon called “AquaAdvantage”.
